Former Philippine President Corazon Aquino is having her funeral service today. President Cory as most people call her, is the first woman Philippine President, the mother of democracy who led a bloodless revolution against 20 year dictator Ferdinand Marcos.

People rushed in Manila memorial (7:20pm) – It was supposed to be just for the immediate family members but supporters climbed the walls and they quickly outnumbered the police forces.
Sucat near Manila memorial (6:44pm) – Cory Aquino’s motorcade is now very close to Manila memorial.
Sucat Exit (6:29pm) – Cory Aquino’s motorcade is now at Sucat Exit where 1,000 yellow balloons are flown to give their thanks for the next 1,000 years.
Bicutan (6:15pm) – Oh my, that was awesome. When I saw the motorcade was passed Merville, I jumped out of my house and went to the service road where the motorcade was passing. To my suprise no vehicles 200 meters away could move and people started running which I did together with so many people. When I arrived at the service road there were so many people kids to grandfathers. What was amazing that even the rich driving BMWs and high end cars parked it on the service road and had their kids (8 and below) stand on the top of the cars to see the motorcade. There I was seeing Cory Aquino pass by. I was standing on the same spot 26 years ago when my Father was holding me as we watched Benigno Aquino’s motorcade pass by as well. It was an unbelievable feeling.
Sucat Exit, correction (4:49pm) – it was actually still in Nichols interchange.
Nichols Interchange (4:04pm) – the motorcade is now approaching the Nichols interchange.
Buendia (2:52pm) – the motorcade is still at buendia. It would probably take more hours before they get to the Manila memorial. Also, the motorcade is no longer going to the skyway since people have already congested that path. Instead, the motorcade is passing at the expressway.
Express way (12:49) – it was a very slow and long travel to Manila memorial, around 25 km, but given that hundreds of thousands flock to the streets, the transportation is probably running at around 10-15km per hour. It is said that the burial would end 2-3 hours from now (3-4pm).
Interview in the coaster (11:30) – Jessica Soho asked how Kris feels, Kris says that her sisters are very kind. Mike Enriquez asked Kris about their plans after the burial, she transferred it to Ballsy Aquino. Mike didn’t seem convinced on Ballsy’s reply that they are going to get together. I think those were inappropriate questions at that time. GMA 7 seems to have an inclusive with Kris who is from ABS-CBN. Maybe that’s the reason she keeps on transferring the interview to her sisters. I am getting pissed off on Mike Enriquez he keeps on asking what they are doing after the burial, can you just shut up. These people wanted to internalize the last moments of their mother and these questions and interview are just pissing off.

Daughter Kris Aquino giving a eulogy (10:30) – Kris Aquino thanked her family and individually thanked each member and their contribution during their trying times. Kris Aquino is asking how can she say goodbye. She said she lied to Cory telling her they were going to be “Ok”. She wanted to free Cory, but she says its going to take a lifetime to forget her—Cory. Kris Aquino says thank you to her mother. When Kris went back to seat, Baby James her son was looking at her.
